Blue Lives Matter by SEGASister Blue Lives Matter by SEGASister
Made this as a response to the semi-recent execution of officers Liu and Ramos in NYC this past December. May they continue to Rest in Peace.
To be honest, the person who killed them is a coward, because guess what he did. He killed himself so he didn't have to face the consequences. Jerk.

:iconmaturity1plz::iconmaturity2plz:
I don't want to block comments on this, but I will if I have to. I've had this one person specifically target me five times now, just because I was angry that two cops were killed by a black person who bragged about it.

As do black lives.

I'm so sorry for those officers deaths and those that died in July (I think). However, the media does not target these officers the way the media unfairly portrays victims of police brutality who are African-American. Every black victim who has lost their lives in police brutality is portrayed in the media as criminals, offenders, and perpetrators instead of victims who lost their lives unfairly and unjustly. Police who die never get scrutinized for the media, as they should not, because they died unfairly because of amoral psychopaths who kill them. May the police officers who were killed rest in peace.

Every victim of unfair killings should not be scrutinized by the media. That is why I stand for Black Lives Matter. Black victims of police brutality should be treated with the same dignity and respect in the media as the Blue Lives who unfortunately were killed. No one deserves to be scrutinized and blamed for their own deaths.

Thank you! Finally someone who supports this movement and DOESN'T want to kill cops! Sorry, been dealing with this stalker who wants me dead because most of my family are cops.

Anyway, I just don't like it when people die. However, the only news network that I see portraying these victims in a negative light are Fox News. I was for this movement up until the deaths of these two officers in December of 2014. Those officers were only trying to do their job, and that man made a choice to kill them (and brag about it as well as murdering his girlfriend beforehand.) That's when I realized how toxic the movement was. In the succeeding two years since, I've seen stories of them rioting and destroying towns in the process, taking over a gay pride parade in Toronto and holding it hostage for half and hour until the parade did what they asked and made them special guests at the parade, and taking any terrorist attack (like the one in Paris about a year ago, or the more recent Orlando Pulse Club shooting) and making it about THEM instead of those who died. And don't get me started on the black-on-black homicide/overall crime rate.

Any respect I had for the movement died when Officer Randolph Holder died in October of last year. Killed by a black guy… and was also a black guy himself. I'm here thinking hopefully, this would bring the two movements together, but BlackLivesMatter held no riots for a black life being lost this time around… just because the guy in question was blue as well.

But I agree, no one who died should be scrutinized for it. Those black lives (e.g. Eric Garner, who died in my hometown, by the way) included. I personally think no one deserves to die, even criminals. But those people don't deserve to die because it's a quick and easy punishment. I prefer life in prison so they are tormented with their choice, as well as other prisoners, and eventually grow old and senile.

Eh I can't say I agree on black-on-black crime. I think it's a flimsy argument.
Most perpetrators of crimes with victims are gonna have their victims look like them in some way shape and form. White people are mostly gonna kill white people, black people are gonna kill black people, hispanics are gonna kill hispanics just because where they live is dominated by that type of person and they happen to also be that type of person. I think the media saying black-on-black crime is racist. 84% of white murder victims were white, for example. It's just common sense. It doesn't mean black people are naturally criminals like everybody says, black-on-black crime is not the issue. Black-on-black crime is an argument used to paint black people as all criminals, whether people realize it or not, because the media paints it as such. Doesn't mean you're racist or a bad person, it's the media.

I don't think any supporter of BLM wants to kill cops. Of course I have nothing to back this up, but one of my biggest reasons for supporting BLM was watching the video Diamond Reynolds watching her dying boyfriend, shot by the cop, and her still complying with everything the officer is saying and keeping respect. The issue isn't that black people don't comply, or black-on-black crime, the issue is racism.

The black-on-black crime argument is a racist one used to dehumanize black victims of police brutality and make their deaths not matter. Black lives matter.

Of course I am white so I can't say I completely understand what black people go through but I can at least listen. Anyone who isn't a POC can just listen and try to learn. I grew up in a black, hispanic, immigrant neighborhood hub so my issues on minorities is a lot more accepting I think. Again, not really much to prove that haha but I can swear by it. I saw all different kids of people who were minorities and I think diversity is beautiful.

Racism is the issue, I'll agree with that. Some of the people behind the movement are some of the most racist people I've seen. But most people would say that it's not racism if it's directed towards a white person. And I also agree that diversity is a beautiful thing, if it's wanted. I don't think that a person of color should be accepted into a job or school, JUST because they are a person of color. Chances are they are turning down someone who is more qualified just so they could reach a quota. This coming from a Hispanic (aka a POC) who grew up in multiple neighborhoods throughout her life, most of them predominantly white. I actually never saw races as different up until my mom retired from the NYPD and moved us upstate. All I saw was people having different colored skin and that's it.

And no supporter of the movement wants to kill cops? Clearly, you haven't met my stalker. Came to this stamp, five times under five different accounts, all declaring "kill cops and their families". Each time I had to report and block him because of those comments. And each time, I tried reasoning with this person until he went to me directly and told me to kill myself since I was a cop's kid. And yes, if it was the other way around, a Blue Lives Matter supporter saying all blacks and their families should die, I would've done the same thing.

However, I do realize that most of the people I've seen behind that movement are a vocal, and violent, minority, and most black people I've spoken with are against the movement because it's so violent and backwards, and even more who support the movement but want no violence at all, like yourself. I would suggest All Lives Matter, and was considering supporting that movement myself, but then I heard that, in spite of ITS name, not all lives matter: it was just created to heavily criticize the Black Lives Matter movement. Though I will flat out admit that not all lives matter to me: the lives of criminals, terrorists, and the Kardashians don't matter to me (okay, that last bit was a joke. XP)

Honestly the matter is everyone's fault in my opinion, yeah there are a LOT of bad cops out there, but there are also a good lot of good cops who actually CARE about the people and communities they are tasked to serve, not to mention extremists on the other side of the conflict are just as bad (and before anyone gets pissy, you're hearing this from a black guy)

The reason this problem is STILL a problem is because both sides have their own group of troublemakers, small they may be, but the fact that neither side does little, if anything about it, yeah, no freakin' wonder why the issue is still around, both sides have to man up, accept that both are in the wrong in their own regards, and learn to solve things in a productive, mature and civilized manner...

YouTube comments are one thing but when you act that bloody self righteous and moronic in the real world, well, to quote Filthy Frank "IT'S TIME TO STOP!"

Why is it so damn hard for people to realize this?!

I have to agree. Yes, not all cops are good, but not all cops are bad either. Speaking as someone who was raised by cops her entire life, it's hard for me to speak ill of them.

One of my grandfathers is a retired police officer, so I feel you, though if anything my family is a military family, seriously, literally EVERY male in my family has served, and if it weren't for my Autism I'd likely be at Fort Bragg right now...

… You've got to be kidding me. You're now thrown proper sentence forming out the window. And again, NO DEATH TREATS ALLOWED! It's like you're specifically looking for ANYTHING pro-police just to bash it. That's just pathetic. Sure, I don't support the #BlackLivesMatter movement because of how hypocritical it is, but I don't go on pages supporting that movement and saying, "Black lives don't matter at all! Long live KKK!" or something like that. If anything, I look for pieces criticizing the movement and add my own thoughts. And I would at least do so in a civilized manner, unlike you. If you really are black, good job enforcing the stereotype that you're an illiterate, violent, spoiled thug who never even got a time out when they were younger. Congratulations, you're now an example of a very vocal minority.

Yeah, like a caner. I wonder what would happen if someone rear ended you or broke into your house and stole stuff, you'd probably cry to the police and beg them to help, but of course, they'd say we don't help pedophiles/ Cop killers.

I posted this in response to TWO NYPD officers specifically being hunted down by a black man who executed them before taking his own life like a coward. Since then, another officer, a BLACK officer, has also been killed, one year ago today. I guess HIS black life didn't matter.

Watch the language. Then maybe I can take you seriously. I have MANY family members who proudly wear blue; I've even been with my mother at work once a year before she retired. Heck, whenever I'm staying in the city now, she calls one of my aunts or uncles to make sure I have a police escort making sure I get to my significant other safely. But hey, you say all cops should die, so don't call for them when you actually need them, making yourself look like a hypocrite.

What about those who CAN'T protect/help themselves? Especially from delinquents who feel that everything and the kitchen sink is owed to them, and will get them by whatever means necessary?

Okay. I'll tell my parents, my step-parents, my sister, her husband, and everyone else I know who's a cop (more family, and friends of family) that you think they deserve to die.

... How about I block you instead? Not just because of our difference in opinion, but how you wish death upon all cops, and are serious in me telling all of my relatives in blue that they deserve to die. If you simply said you didn't like them, I would've respected that. But since you've made it clear that all cops should be killed (as well as soccer moms for some reason), I'm afraid I have to terminate this, and future conversations.

I can already tell that the dead cops were given fair, unbiased afterlife trials based on what they did in life.  As for the guy who killed them, something tells me he'll be in for a rough ride down below.
